About YPEP

Quality and CQC

Our home care is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Here’s what that means, and how we check the quality of our care ourselves.

How we check quality

Alongside CQC, we check the quality of our care ourselves.

  • Care plans reviewed with the person and their family
  • Spot checks on carers’ visits
  • Feedback from the people we support and their families
  • Supervision and training for every member of staff
  • Medication records checked
  • Every staff member has an enhanced DBS check
