Why YPEP started, what we stand for, and how we work with the children, young people and adults we support.
How YPEP started
Young People’s Empowerment Project became a community interest company on 17 September 2019. Today we run services for children and young people, and home care for adults, from our office at Churchill House in Pontefract.
Why a community interest company?
A community interest company (CIC) is a company that exists to benefit the community. Its profits and assets are used for that purpose.
For YPEP, the community is the children, young people and adults we support across West Yorkshire.
